Simple, Fresh, Crunchy Coleslaw
We normally try to eat healthy but sometimes we just get attracted to a big bucket of KFC chicken – well, we are all humans 🙂 I like their crunchy cereal coated chicken but what I really adore is the coleslaw. We ever miss to buy a few bowls when we go there, however I was always complaining to my boyfriend about the size of the slaw. Did you notice? It is tiny. Huge buckets of chicken, and a teeny tiny coleslaw. They should really change the ratio 🙂 Anyway, after all that complaining I decided I’ll just make it at home and only buy the chicken in KFC. Of course, it is not only good with chicken 😉
Ingredients:
3 cups shredded cabbage
1 shredded carrot
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preparation:
In a bowl, mix the cabbage and carrot. Mix the mayo, oil, vinegar, sugar and salt in a separate bowl. Pour the mixture over the veggies and toss to coat. Refrigerate until ready to eat. ENJOY!!
Now that’s a great solution as well as a great looking slaw. We have just about every fast food chain around us except for some reason KFC has moved away. Maybe too much competition.
Looks yummy!
Thank you 😉
