Puff Pastry Sausage Bows

This is another frequently used recipe by me, a big favourite of my Mr and my whole family, while one of the easiest ever salty snack recipes, moreover it only has 3 (or max. 4) ingredients. Did I mention it is fast and cheap? Oh, and by the way, a perfect snack for the upcoming Super Bowl!

Puff Pastry Sausage Bows

1 puff pastry dough (store-bought for me)
2-3 frankfurter sausages
1 egg
sesame or other seeds  (or even cheese) to sprinkle on top

1. Roll out the dough and cut to more or less equal squares, big enough to be able to roll them up with the sausage pieces inside
2. Cut the sausages into small pieces
3. Place the sausages on the dough squares and roll them up, pinch the ends to make a bow shape (or whatever shape you prefer)
4. Brush the bows with a beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or cheese
5. Pre-heat the oven and bake the bows according to the instructions on the packaging of the puff pastry dough.

Enjoy with ketchup/mayo/mustard/etc. 🙂
