A praise for fresh orange juice
Our obsession with freshly squeezed orange juice most certainly started this summer on the biggest Greek island, Crete. We knew it should not be difficult to find oranges there, however we were very positively surprised by the reality: at almost every grocery store, the freshly squeezed golden orange juice was sealed in front of our eyes in 1/2-1 liter bottles, for no more than 2 euros a bottle! There were days when we consumed 2 of them without any efforts… If only we could travel with liquids : ))
Luckily oranges are now almost always available anywhere, so grab the opportunity and replace that glass or bottle of sweet bubbly drink of yours with a glass of these! Also worth considering that even 1 cup fresh orange juice gives you 207% of the daily required Vitamin C… If you prefer a less dense drink, feel free to add some water.
